Diverse Marine Values Project Explores Coastal Values In Shetland

The Diverse Marine Values Project has produced a documentary exploring the values of the sea and coast to Shetland’s local community.

This SMMR-funded project called upon a range of different backgrounds to investigate the relationship between the residents of Shetland and the sea through a series of interviews, culminating in a documentary film.

Whilst opening up dialogue between coastal communities and professionals from the marine sector, the project also involved theatre workshops, brought together by Shetland Youth Theatre and Shetland Arts.
