Sense about Science has partnered with SPICe (The Scottish Parliament Information Centre), and our lead partners RDS Scotland and ADR Scotland, to deliver Evidence Week in Holyrood. For the first time, MSPs will join researchers, and constituents to discuss how the evidence used to make policy decisions in Scotland is scrutinised.

The Opening Event will see people from across Scotland put their questions directly to a panel of influential policymakers and their own MSP, about the evidence used to decide policy issues that matter to them.

During the week, MSPs will be briefed by on cutting-edge research about pressing policy issues in Scotland, and have the opportunity to discuss evidence with world-leading researchers.

The unique format of Evidence Week has been successful in parliaments in the EU, UK, and Ireland, and is coming to the Scottish Parliament at the requests of Scottish voters and people within Holyrood.
