Ocean Literacy is a growing concept within the marine world, with the UN Ocean Decade recently shining a spotlight on the term.

The SMMR-funded Diverse Marine Values project aims to explore how people across the UK connect with the marine environment, and what value they assign to it. But how ‘ocean literate’ are we? In the face of this question, the Diverse Marine Values team have asked the wider SMMR community to share your thoughts on the marine environment through this survey!
