As part of a new cluster hiring in the topics of Nature-based Solutions and/or Natural Capital Valuation in the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Stirling, the Division of Biological and Environmental Sciences is seeking to appoint 2 new Lecturers and 1 Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor. These are positions at grades 8 (£42k-£50k p.a.) and 9 (£51k-£60k p.a.).
We are looking for applicants that will work and lead in areas providing the science base for developing effective nature-based solutions and/or valuing natural capital from local to global scales and across terrestrial, fluvial and coastal environments. Applicants with a record of developing interdisciplinary research in these areas are strongly encouraged but will be expected to have a primarily natural sciences background. This includes coastal geosciences, hydrology, bio-geomorphology.
